Vitaxel Review – Legit Business Opportunity or Another Big Scam?

With so many MLM companies launching every month, it can be hard to determine which ones are legit and which ones aren’t.

So how can you be sure your hard-earned money is in good hands?

Learn everything you can about the company before signing up!

My review will cover the company, the products and the compensation plan.

Vitaxel Review – The Company

Vitaxel Review

Launched in Malaysia in August 2015, Vitaxel (listed as VXEL) went public on the US stock exchange in February, 2016.

At first, shares were valued at 20 cents each, but within the first week the shares plummeted to 3 cents.

Currently, Vitaxel shares are only valued at 1 cent each.

Vitaxel is lead by founder Lim Hui Boon, with Leong Yee Ming serving as CEO.

Aside from Vitaxel, Boon also founded Ho Wah Genting, which according to the company website, is:

a Malaysian group of companies with a wide portfolio of business interests encompassing mining, manufacturing, trading and travel.

Leong Yee Ming also worked within Ho Wah Genting, serving as CFO, COO and Treasurer.

Before Vitaxel, neither Lim Hui Boon or Leong Yee Ming seem to have been in the MLM realm.

Vitaxel Reviews – The Products

Vitaxel currently markets one retail product, which is a preferred customer membership to its VionMarket.

So what is VionMarket?

It is an e-commerce platform that currently offers third-party merchant products.

Those who visit the site cannot even browse the listed products without signing up first.

Vitaxel currently sells the VionMarket preferred customer memberships for $15.

The membership includes 100 VionMarket Points, which customers can use towards purchases.

The company website also offers VTrips and VSpark under their products and services, but are listed as “coming soon”.

The Vitaxel Compensation Plan

Affiliates who are looking to take part in the compensation plan must purchase a package and then sponsor other affiliates who do the same.

Recruitment Commissions

Vitaxel affiliates earn commission when they sponsor new affiliates.

The amount of recruitment commission that is earned depends on how much the new Vitaxel affiliate spends on their membership, in addition to how much the sponsoring affiliate spent when they joined.

Action Package affiliates earn:

$7.50 for recruiting another Action Package affiliate
$48 for recruiting a Business Package affiliate and
$120 for recruiting a Career Package affiliate

Business Member affiliates earn:

$11.25 for recruiting an Action Package affiliate
$72 for recruiting another Business Package affiliate and
$180 for recruiting a Career Package affiliate

Career Package affiliates earn:

$15 for recruiting an Action Package affiliate
$96 for recruiting a Business Package affiliate and
$240 for recruiting another Career Package affiliate

If a Vitaxel affiliate sponsors a minimum of 2 package purchasing affiliates within their first 30 days in the company, they earn a 5% recruitment commission bonus from their third sponsored affiliate and on.

Residual Commissions

Vitaxel residual commissions are paid through a binary compensation structure.

This type of compensation structure puts a Vitaxel affiliate at the top of a binary team that splits into a left and right side.

Level one of the binary team holds 2 positions and the second level is made by adding another 2 positions under each of the first two, for a total of 4 positions.

Additional levels of the binary team are made in the same way, with each new level holding twice as many positions as the level above it.

Binary team positions are filled with direct and indirect sponsorship of new affiliates.

There is currently no limit in regards to how deep the binary team can grow.

Every affiliate package correlates to a certain number of points:

Action Package ($130) – 75 points
Business Package ($800) – 480 points
Career Package ($2000) – 1200 points

Vitaxel counts up new points on both binary sides at the end of every day.

Points are earned as new affiliates are sponsored into a binary team.

Every 100 points that are matched on both sides of a binary team earn the affiliate a commission:

Action Package affiliates are paid $10 (capped at $120 a day)
Business Package affiliates are paid $15 (capped at $1000 a day)
Career Member Package affiliates are paid $20 (capped at $3000 a day)

Consumption Bonus

The Consumption Bonus seems to be dependent on a Vitaxel affiliate’s downline earnings, both their recruitment and residual commissions.

Affiliates can get up to a 100% match on downline recruitment and residual commissions, which are paid down a maximum 10 levels of sponsorship.

Affiliates who earn this bonus will receive 80% as cash, while the remaining 20% must be spent in VionMarket.

Executive Global Bonus

The Executive Global Bonus is a bonus pool that occurs quarterly.

It consists of 10% of Vitaxel’s company-wide sales volume.

Affiliates who are ranked at the Sapphire or higher ranks qualify for shares in the Executive Global Bonus pool like so:

Sapphire ranked affiliates receive 1 share
Ruby ranked affiliates receive 2 shares
Emerald ranked affiliates receive 3 shares
Diamond ranked affiliates receive 4 shares
Black Diamond ranked affiliates receive 5 shares

Every share is capped quarterly at $3000.

Wealth Creation

Browsing through the company compensation plan, I came across something called “Wealth Creation” shares.

Affiliates who qualify for the Millionaire Founder’s Club Challenge are awarded 3,000,000 “free” shares by the company.

Neither the type of shares nor the qualification criteria for the Millionaire Founder’s Club Challenge are provided.

There are also Sales Performance Targets that are given in the compensation plan, but again, there are no specific details.

Cost To Join Vitaxel

The cost to join Vitaxel as an affiliate is the cost of purchase of 1 of 3 affiliate packages:

Action Package – $130
Business Package – $800
Career Package – $2000

There is also a $15 annual fee that applies after an affiliate’s first year.

Each affiliate package includes boxes of Amalaki supplement, as well as a certain number of VionMarket Points and Redemption Points or Travel Points.

The amount an affiliate can earn is also affected by which package is purchased.

As is expected, the higher the amount is that an affiliate spends on their membership, the higher their earning potential is through the Vitaxel compensation plan.
